Teachable Moment

Take your child out to a large lake, and bring along a good supply of his/her favorite drinks.   Choose an exhaustive activity, and proceed to wear them out with the recreation.   Then at a fitting time, drink together vigorously as a reward for your exercise.     Then sit down and ask your children how long would it take to drink all the water in the lake if they were thirsty enough?   Hopefully, their answer would be forever, or in similarly stated words,  ” I could never drink all that water, not in a million years. ”   That’s right, and that’s how much you can drink from God’s forgiveness, forever.
