Parenting Priorities

The success of teaching your child about faith greatly depends on how you conduct yourself in their presence with God given priorities.  There is no verbalized lesson that can replace your example.    Your children will emulate most everything you do.

In review, generic viagra site faith is simply acting on the responsibilities God designs and assigns for you as members of His family.   In essence you are His sons or daughters. There is no one like you in the kingdom; you are wonderfully made, generic viagra buy viagra and specifically purposed to carry out his will.  In God’s household there are no favorites; all His sons and daughters are equally loved, cherished, and commissioned as His ambassadors.

God chose you to carry out His divine strategy in reaching the world with salvation.   As a brother in Christ, I encourage you to consider the spiritual gifts God has given you (I Cor. 12).    Then register within yourself God’s divine location, for the moment it may be where you presently reside.  Thereafter, meditate over the ministry desires for which you have always longed.

Further, analyze the obstacle that keeps you from fulfilling the ministry of faith God has design for you.  May it be that what keeps your faith unrealized is the self-imposed agenda of which the world has convinced you.  In response to this possibility, pray about your present priorities, pursue counsel from Christian friends and family members and   those who have your highest spiritual interest in mind.

Finally, lay aside the exposed priorities that keep you from fulfilling God’s purpose in your life.   Remember, God has designed your life to never be too busy to do His will.    Are you too busy to have a life of faith?    Remember your children are watching you.

Teachable Moments

Gather up some oranges (these represent priorities not specifically contributing to works of faith) and in the presence of your children begin juggling them; start with one orange, two oranges, three oranges, and then four oranges.    Add an apple (this represents spiritual priority) to the act, and juggle as long as you can before the fruit falls to the ground.  Then challenge your children to attempt the same juggling act, but have them start only with the apple.   As they improve their juggling skill add some oranges.   Note and comment on how many pieces of fruit they can juggle.   But if they start to falter in their juggling, take away one orange at a time until they feel comfortable again.   Never take away the apple, it is the one piece of fruit that they were always designed to juggle.   Do you need an interpretation?  I think not!
