Islam Part 3

A Christian’s Prayer for Muslims

In our first article on Islam we discussed the great differences between Christ and Mohammad.   The next three articles will deal with what Christians should do with Muslims There are really only three things we can do and that is to pray, discount viagra rx confront, no rx and share out testimonies with them.      In addition to these three articles, sale more information will be given as to Islamic beliefs and goals.

Islam is an affront to God, it is not only a false religion,  it as devastating belief system that demands impossible works.  Islam is one of God’s greatest enemies of all time.  It has ruined and will continue to ruin millions of lives on earth.    Since it is an enemy of God it is the Christian’s responsibility to first pray for all Muslims.  This seems so counter to what our flesh tells us, especially when we see Muslims killing innocent people, and cutting off their heads.   But Jesus is very plain in how to deal with  enemies, He wants us first to pray for them (Matthew 5: 38-39; 43-45).  Prayer is the conversation with we always need to employ, especially in regards to His enemies;  enemies who may persecute us.  Prayer is not informing God of something He does not know about.    It is like a telephone call, where two parties are talking with one another.   And in this case it means that we dial up and talk with God about the Muslims, but more importantly we listen to what He wants us to do.   Often times we call up God, but don’t listen to what He wants us to do.

Matthew 5: 38-39; 43-45   38   “You have heard that it was said, ‘An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth.’  39  “But I say to you, do not resist an evil person; but whoever slaps you on your right cheek, turn the other to him also. 43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ 44  “But I say to you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 45 so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven; for He causes His sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.

From God’s end of the conversation, He may inspire you to confront Muslims, which we will talk about next week.   He may tell you to share your faith with them as we will discuss in our last article.   But most of all, He wants us to love them and do all we can to bring them to the kingdom, whether it is through our prayer, confrontation, or witness.    Remember, He created them in love just like He did with you, and desires that they all come into the kingdom (Psalm 13:13-18; 2 Peter 3:9).

Psalm 139:13-18  13 For You formed my inward parts; You wove me in my mother’s womb. 14 I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Wonderful are Your works, And my soul knows it very well. 15            My frame was not hidden from You, When I was made in secret, And skillfully wrought in the depths of the earth; 16Your eyes have seen my unformed substance; And in Your book were all writtenThe days that were ordained for me, When as yet there was not one of them. 17 How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How vast is the sum of them! 18If I should count them, they would outnumber the sand. When I awake, I am still with You.

2 Peter 3:9  The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance
