Over time I have found that it does not really matter what befalls me in this life, viagra buy generic if I abide in the Lord and He in me, here then His presence, love, and power surrounds me as nothing else can. Then when something comes my way, something I deem as very bad, or something I am usually very afraid of, it must pass through Him first, before it ever gets to me. And if such a bad thing does get through to me, it is not without His permission and knowledge of how it is all going to turn out, which is always for my good or the good of someone else. Always!
I once saw a musician draw some black dots on a piece of paper. I looked and could make nothing of them; all seemed no more than a sporadic grouping of black dots. Confusing at best, I admitted at the time! Then the musician drew a few lines, and put in a few rests, and then a clef at the beginning. Finally I saw that these were musical notes being created. After sounding them out, I found myself singing the church doxology,
Praise God from whom all blessings flow,
Praise Him all creatures here below.
Praise Him above, ye heavenly host;
Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
There are also many black dots in our own lives, and sometimes we cannot understand why they are there or why God gave permission for them to be there. But if we let God come into our lives, and let Him adjust those dots in the proper way, and draw the lines He wants, and put rests where they need to be, then out of those black dots will come a glorious song with great lyrics and harmony. Are you and I not one of God’s songs to be sung to this whole world? Let Him do His work, and He will make a great song out of you and me. After all, He’s not only the great physician, but the great musician as well.

Some thoughts for April
Where God’s finger points, there God’s hand will make the way.
You are not to snatch the guiding reigns of your life from the Lord’s hands.
Spiritual opportunity knocks, but temptations bang on your front door.
I can always count on God to be in my corner, no matter how well I do or perform.
Opportunity may knock once, but temptation bangs on the front door forever. When in doubt, don’t.
God is like oxygen
In a way oxygen is very much like the Lord to those who put their trust in Him during their days on earth, they cannot see Him for the moment, but they can’t live without Him.
The school of suffering graduates rare scholars.
Failure is not defeat until you stop trying.
We don’t change the message, the message changes us.
Delays are not denials; men would pluck God’s mercies green when God would have them ripen.
You are not just His work
Another great truth about God is that He comes into our lives to minister to us rather than to get something from us. In other words, you are more important to God than the work He can draw out of you for the sake of the kingdom.
Expect a certain amount of resistance from others to a new idea you may have. Pray on it for a while, and let the Lord refine it for you. Then present it again, and still don’t be surprised if others still reject it at first. Then wait and let God do His work, and eventually they may tolerate your new idea, and even finally accept it. Just wait and see.
